We build web and mobile apps from scratch. Small team, all senior. You get a fixed price before the work starts and the whole codebase when it ends.
Web applications
Shops, dashboards, portals, internal tools. TypeScript on both ends.
Mobile applications
iOS and Android. Native or React Native, whichever suits the app.
The whole build
Design, code, tests, servers, launch. We start at an empty repo.
01
Fixed price per project
You get the number before we start. It only moves if you change the scope.
02
You own all the code
Your repository from the first commit. Servers and configs too. No licence, no lock-in.
03
SEO built in
Markup, speed and metadata are done during the build. Nobody patches them on later.
04
AI where it pays off
We add it when it removes real work. There are examples further down.
How we work
Four steps. You see the work at every one.
Each step ends in something you can open and use. No month of silence, then a demo.
-
01
Shaping
We sit down with you and work out what the product has to do. You leave with a written scope, a plan and a price.
-
02
Design system and prototype
Colours, type and components first. Then the real screens. You click through it on your own phone, early.
-
03
Build
Small changes, merged often, always ready to deploy. Everything gets read by a second engineer before it lands.
-
04
Ship and operate
Servers, pipelines and monitoring, set up so your own team can run them. Then handover or ongoing work.
AI in your product
We are not behind on it.
We build AI into products where it removes work that a person should not be doing by hand. Four jobs it is good at right now.
These are examples of what we can build for you, not client work. gooserocket is new and we are not going to dress up a wishlist as a portfolio.
example 01
Meta tags for a big catalogue
Say you sell 8,000 products. Nobody is going to write 8,000 title tags and descriptions by hand, so they end up duplicated or empty and the pages never rank. A model drafts them from the product data. You review a sample, fix the pattern, and run the rest. New products get theirs on the way in.
example 02
Search that understands the question
Keyword search fails when the customer does not know your words for things. Someone types "jacket for cycling in the rain" and gets nothing. Search on meaning instead and they get the four products you actually stock.
example 03
Support answers from your own docs
Most support tickets are the same twenty questions. An assistant that reads your documentation and order data answers them, cites the page it used, and passes anything it is unsure about to a person.
example 04
Sorting what comes in
Applications, tickets, listings, uploads. Tagging and routing them is slow, dull and easy to get wrong at volume. A model does the first pass and flags the ones a person needs to look at.
Every one of these gets an evaluation set before it ships, a cost and speed budget, and a fallback for when the model gets it wrong. If AI is the wrong tool for what you want, we will say so.
Where we stand
New studio. Not new engineers.
gooserocket is a new studio in New York, so there is no client wall on this site. We are not going to invent one.
The engineers are not new. We have spent years shipping software that other people depend on, and that is the part that carries over. The team is small and senior, so nobody is learning the basics on your budget.
If you would rather not take that on trust, start with a prototype sprint. Two to three weeks, fixed price, something running at the end of it. Then decide.

Ways to work with us
Three ways in.
fixed price
Prototype sprint
Two to three weeks. Design system, the main screens, and a build you can put in front of real users. The cheapest way to find out whether the product works and whether we suit each other.
fixed price per milestone
Full build
Empty repo to live product. Shaping, design, code, tests, servers and launch, split into milestones you sign off one at a time. You know the cost of each before it starts.
monthly
Ongoing work
After launch, or on a product you already run. A fixed monthly amount for a known amount of engineering time. Stop whenever you want.
